so much for the GOP elephant and their governance; Wow now you see and now don’t , is gonna be our democracy with them at the helm of our good old U.S. of A.
We were playing tennis one evening at the local junior college. There was a small carnival set up in the parking lot of a strip mall down the road. We heard a ruckus, looked up, and an elephant was running full tilt right at us. I was looking around for the nearest exit, and my friends were going “What the…???”, when a small man running behind the elephant hollered “EXPLETIVES DELETED, GEORGE, YOU STOP RIGHT EXPLETIVE NOW!!!” The elephant skidded to a stop about 50 ft. from the court, turned around, and waited for the chewing out from his trainer.
Years ago, my wife thought she wanted to go on an African camping safari and was reading me this story by people who woke up to find a bunch of elephant tracks going through the middle of their group of tents. All I could picture the elephant near my tent losing its balance and us ending up like this guy.

Never camp on an elephant trail and never built a hotel on one, either – especially, if the trail leads to one of their favorite snacks!

I had that happen with a bull moose in Alaska. Big fella just walked through our camp stepping on me in my sleeping bag. Luckily he didn’t linger.
