I don’t get it.

The panels are taking the down escalator

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

When life gives you tons of snow, make hot chocolate and stay inside.

seems your comic is buried.

Panels farther to the right are the future. So Horace doesn’t have much of a choice about where to throw his shovelfuls. Plus, there’s so much that the whole comic is sinking like the Titanic.

Shoveling off two inches of snow is easy. Twelve inches, not as much so.
