I felt that way when I was younger, I always thought it was magic barrier or something like that… only found out later that it was just because I git majorly distracted.
I felt the same way, until I met a teacher that made algebra fun, and that made all the difference. It gratifies me more than I can say to have heard from one of my former algebra student that I made the same difference for her.
