Grandma isn’t a cat.

There should be a National Cat Whiskers Day.

Oh no! If Grandma walks through doorways in the dark, how will she be able to tell if the rest of her will fit through?

Grandma has whiskers, Mittens has vibrissae.

I just counted my cat’s whiskers and I’ll be darned if Mittens isn’t correct!

Mitten’s whiskers are tough and fancy.

Whisker count does vary, especially as old ones fall out and are replaced. I have a whisker collection from my cats. One clueless person asked me if I pulled them out of the cat. “No, they leave one lying around when they are done with it.”

Cat’s whiskers are an essential part of their superpower equipment. Do not interfere.

Also part of their unbearable cuteness power.

All cats except Kao K’o-Kung…he has 36…

My long gone Furball used to stick her whiskers in my face at night, It would drive me nuts and I would threaten to cut them off. I never would of course, which is OK as she would pay no attention to such things. Can’t win.

I will need to count all 8 cats, total and divide by 16…
