Just watched the 1st episode of Season 3 of the new Lost in Space. One of the over-achieving daughters of the Robinson’s, Judy, was limited in what she could bring. So she brought a 2nd place trophy. Her parents were wondering why because she had so many first place ones. They finally guessed that it was to push herself to excel and not settle for 2nd place. (We now return you to funny comments).
Her talents are definitely varied. She will make some lucky guy a very interesting wife. Hope that he will be up to the challenge and that he has the ability to duck quickly……
I actually knew some girls like that. Brainy and over achievers. Good looking too. As a nerd they considered me harmless, yet kept me at a distance, too.

In Knoxville, TN, there is an emporium that caters to beer drinking axe tossers. I don’t go there.

That last hyphen seems unnecessary.

The first axe-throwing venue I ever heard of is in Uranus, Missouri: The Axe Hole.
Currently closed for remodeling. https://www.uranusmissouri.com/attractions/the-uranus-axehole/

Who’s our favorite little over-achiever? Actually, she a nice antidote to some of the slacker school kids in my other favorite comics.
