Never understood the appeal of snowmobiles.. Noisy, smelly machines, disturbing the peace of winter, terrorizing the animals.. Not to mention the entitlement of a lot of the drivers, who feel the need to stray off trails because it’s fresh snow. Sure do wish they’d ban them from national parks again.
What a creative idea for a vacation in the middle of winter. Go someplace where it’s colder than where you are. Do people from Ontario take winter vacations in Saskatchewan? I bet they don’t. I live in south Florida, and right now so do a lot of Canadians—in normal times, anyway. (If normal times ever did exist, but that’s another issue.)

Except for the nights in a cheesy hotel, that pretty much described my high school winters, 1970-1974.

Did you stumble into an ice fishing house? A deer camp? Pass the jerky, so I can add it to the three bean chili. For ‘punch’. TMI
