My little freezer was delivered today. My refrigerator has a freezer drawer and it doesn’t hold much and I was always having to move things around so they wouldn’t get stuck when I shut the drawer. I’ll use it for leftovers and the one in the garage for the rest.
The house is coming together, one day at a time. I’ve hung most of the pictures and paintings. Mostly by walking around with one and holding it up to various walls. The one that was in the bathroom is now in the living room!

For me, it’s back to work day. I enjoyed my 4 days off. I didn’t get a lot done, but I took care of the leak in the bathroom and my living room is cleaner and my cats got to spend a lot of quality lap time with me. I had a lot of leftover paid time off hours (PTO) and since I can only carry over 80 total hours into the new fiscal year (the fiscal year ends at the end of January), I’m using them up this month. I could have let Walmart buy out those extra hours and I would have had a really nice paycheck in February, but I like using the hours instead. I get a little burned out working so hard on Christmas and then Christmas clearance, it’s nice to get away from work. So, I will be off 4 days straight next week too (Monday – Thursday) and 5 days off the following week (Monday through Friday). It’s especially nice because we’re doing a remodel now, moving departments around. After 4 days of remod, I expect the store to look different when I go back to work today.
As passwords go, that’s kind of catchy, but still, they should just let Annie in. On another note, saw four chickadees and a rabbit while out walking today.
