Well of course, kid. The “yuckier” things taste, the better they usually are for you.

Believe me, you get used to it. Eventually you start to notice the other spices and the spring in your step. (So they tell me.)

I worked with a guy once who was very disciplined about including his personal four major food groups in every lunch – sugar, fat, salt, and caffeine.

Sounds a little like Atkins food…

If Wilberforce is open-minded enough, and she’s smart enough to make something tasty, maybe she can get him to try it (whatever it is), and win him over. Maybe.

Otherwise she could take a page from Calvin’s dad, who once got Calvin to eat by telling him the dinner was radioactive waste that would turn him into a mutant. But I don’t know if that approach would appeal to this kid.

That’s what the package says, and it must be true, ’cause it costs twice as much as the other brands.

With Gladys’ cooking, there’s no doubt both taste and texture will be Yucky!
