“Had gave”?? That and similar errors have become common in recent years. “Might have did that.” “Shouldn’t have went”. Etc. Keep it up and in a few centuries they might become correct.
Same with the word “Medium”. It’s a singular noun, Like: “The Medium is the Message.” But now, the “Media” is treated as a singular noun, usually for Television and Newspapers.
