Aw, this is a great one! And Nina, considering the shape Skeezix is in for his age, you will apparently get your wish!

For you newbies, Nina is pronounced NINE-ah. I’m mentioning this because I have a cousin, Mina, pronounced MINE-ah, and even though the preacher which attended her wedding had been told this, he still pronounced it MEE-nah during the ceremony.

Isn’t this the first recognition of Skeezix’s birthday in many a year?

Soo, I assume Skeezix and Nina were both born on Valentine’s? (Pardon the question – I’m reengaging with this strip after a 40-year hiatus.)

It is about a century + now isn’t it?/

I love the Holidays in Gasoline Alley. BTW, Mr. Scancarelli should introduce some Black and Hispanic characters. It’s been 50 years since The Jeffersons and Chico and the Man.
