I wonder if Elizabeth Barrett Browning or Edna St. Vincent Millay had these problems.

Agnes will shoot for the pale, wane look…limply reclining on a divan, whilst coughing and clutching a blood-flecked lace handkerchief to her ruby-red lips.

I once met a guy who introduced himself as “Gary Nelson, Vagabond Poet” (not really Gary Nelson). He looked like a poet. I think he even wore a beret.

“Quote the Raven, “Nevermore’”…….

Pencil in the hair is a good start I think and it leaves open a fall back to accountant if the poet thing flops.

I see her as a beat poet, endlessly rambling with made-up words

Now, start with finding a rhyme for Agnes.

She can be a famous poemer. All she needs to do is find a word that rhymes with ‘ORANGE’!!!

Hopefully she’ll eventually outgrow her reliance on stereotypes, such as this one that suggests a certain type of creative or artistic person has to look a certain way. Hopefully she’ll never outgrow the ability to invent words such as "poeming’!

We’ll see how long she stays with it. At least she isn’t adding “genius” to it.
