@Linguist Todayâs strip IS funny , our HERO mr Andrew Cappâs unwanted advice ending with him getting hit on the head by a can is worthy of the master :o) my avatar today is a picture of Dennis Mitchell nearly getting Mr Wilson in trouble for ogling their pretty neighbour , well he may be old but heâs not dead yet , come passerai la vostra Domenicha mio meno vecchio amicho? our Sunday should be a little busy but we should cope I hope ,we both are in a good mood , no early morning drive no shopping or errands to run just stay inside the house keep hydrated and wait till 9.30 when we will watch our Archbishop celebrate the Holy Mass on television keep safe and a bientot pal.
Perhaps Mr. Smyth doesnât know it, but this was a scene from âThe Honeymoonersâ TV program way back in the 50âs in which Ralph tells Alice she should bring the laundry down from the roof in two loads to make it easier.
Some years ago, there werenât grocery bags (either cloth or paper) with handles. Just BIG paper bags, no handles. The handles came in when grocery stores moved out of downtown to outlying locations.

Thatâs a good way to dent a perfectly good can. For by this time, I donât think anything would penetrate his head.

Reminds me of a âFor Better or For Worseâ where Elly threw a cup of hot coffee to the back of Johnâs head.
This was after John made a stupid, snarky remark, just like Capp.

Good to see Andy reading a working class newspaper. Not that heâs ever been a member of the working class.
teachteed23 about 3 years ago
With that kind of aim, maybe Flo ought to join Andyâs darts team.
cuzinron47 about 3 years ago
Well, she aims too.
