I frequently laugh at old movies and TV shows where actor’s shadows appear on the same side as lamps in the room, and when the actors are faces are lit, but they’re supposedly in dark rooms and using flashlights to see. I remember a scene where an actor was standing in front of a tree that had two shadows on both left and right behind the actor.

Maybe the key grip or the best boy.

When they opened the tomb,

that triggered the spark

that lit the fire,

That cleared the path,

that put a curse on trespassers ….!!!

Everybody knows it would be the servants and they aren’t considered real people.

These are smart torches.

The carnivorous monster that is just about ready to devour you…..

The mummies and daddies lit them so the kids wouldn’t fall down in the dark.

I’m not saying it was aliens, but it was aliens.

I think most movies make a big show of the characters or some mystical force lighting the torches though?

Set designers, can’t live with them or without them….
