I had a mutt that smelled bad no matter what. I took her to a groomer just for a bath, mentioning her odor, and even with the “scent” they added – and if you know what they use you might ask them not to add it – she would start to stink on the way home. I even had her thyroid tested. It was in her fur. She could also fart like a champ, even making her get up and leave. I wish I had been doggy home cooking then! It might have solved both problems. But, oh, she was a sweetheart, easy to train. I don’t like a lot of barking. She learned to sit at the front door and let out a little snort if she wished to alert me. Never did find out what breeds she was, but she was highly intolerant to heat.
OK, Bucky is a smart cat but he would hardly be familiar with “Ellis Island” re-spelling unless … unless he’s actually a cat from Siam who had to go around the world to immigrate through Ellis Island. ?? (And, no, the fact that he walks around on two legs and talks, does not bother me. I had a Siamese cat that did that.)

I have three cats that allow me to live in their home. When one or other of them passes gas, the cloud of stink is unbelievable!

Wait, a cat knows about Ellis Island and changing the spelling of Eastern European names?

Bucky as usual is more discerning, and as such the smart one among this bunch.
