COVID affects the lungs, not the brains.
I think Bub has nailed it again. The test is whether or not you can self-administer the test. If you can, you’re fine.
Betty’s mistake was buying the covid test from IKEA.
Dispose the swab “with appropriate biohazard protocol” i.e. the garbage can. That’s how I dispose my dirty Kleenex.
Having poor oxygen saturation affects the brain. Anyhow, I think the way the instructions are written makes them more difficult.
Her poor red nose.
I did it, while feeling dizzy, with a sore throat and a bad head cold…
The instructions were written in much simpler English than that, and it wasn’t difficult to do.
Don’t let a comic strip discourage you from trying.
BTW every US household can order 8 FREE rapid test kits from the government, via the US Postal Service…
https://www.covidtests.gov/
The only info they collect is name and address.
I was really glad I had one when I needed it.
Oh.., and yes… it was negative.
A positive test means it found some Covid-19 virus.
A negative test only means if you have any, it might not be enough for the test to find, so you need to wait and re-test…
Or, better, get a “PCR” test from a doctor or test center.
Which, in case anybody is wondering… I did…
And I didn’t have Covid! Yay!
The instructions are written at the 5th grade level.
PSA: do not use the test fluid as eye drops or pre-wet the swap. Yes, people are stupid enough to do this for fake Internet points.
Seems simple to me. Those directions were the same as was written in my kit.
COVID affected the brains of many politicians.
I have yet to see instructions on how to interpret the final results
mild Covid can shrink the brain. it affects people both physically and mentally, short and long term.
Exactly the way other tests (Influenza) are done. Though if you’re feeling bad, that would be hard to read & do. Best if she had read through the instructions & then did the test.
Much like sending your poop away for a colon cancer test…but at the other end of course.
We have the same kits in Canada. I used it once. Same instructions. I got three test kits just at my drug store. They were handing them out.
Will Betty be positive or negative for COVID when she knows her results?
