I used to have a lovely Hermes typewriter. However, in the morning, I would find the keys all jammed up. It took a while to find out it was the Siamese who was a frustrated author. Eventually, when I could afford it, I bought an unjammable IBM Selectric typewriter. I was curious to see if the Siamese would try it. I left it on all night with paper in the platen. Occasionally I heard typing during the night. In the morning, over coffee, I studied what he had done. I was disappointed, of course. The plots were thin, it was very cat-centric, the characters were weak and conversed in onomatopoeia. That’s Siamese for you. :)

Not good, either as is or translated. I don’t even want to know the translation.

It’s code for “Stumpy will be round at Midnight with your ‘goods’. Leave the back door unlocked, along with seventy treats on an unmarked dish.”
