Have we reached the end of Richard Thompson’s works? If so, I think I will take a long moment of silence to honor the man and then quit following. I have no interest in pretenders to quality.
I’m going to take this as another opportunity to plug the book “Team Cul de Sac,” made up of other artists’ treatment of the Cul de Sac characters – some are just one-shots, some are multi-panel arcs, and a few of them are “guest appearances” by Alice and/or Petey (and/or others) in other comic strips. One of the highlights is a portrait of Petey done in oils by Bill Watterson.
Proceeds of the book* go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Check it out.
*I’m assuming you can still get new copies; if it’s out of print I’m sure you can pick it up used, but I can’t say where your money will go.
Every kid knows, and, sadly, adults often forget, that we have a separate stomach for dessert that exists outside of space, time, and the natural laws of physics.

Easy answer, Petey: all Little Sisters are drips.
OUCH! Okay, okay, Alice, I take it back! Ouch!
