dodge63, I’ve heard of them and I’ve also heard that they can even make trifocal contacts (although those are incredibly expensive).

They make multifocal contacts my sister wears them they are on average 40.00 for a box that lasts her up to three months but her vision has also improved by wearing the contacts she is not always on and off with the glasses stressing her eyes.

    ROFLMAO!!! This one is priceless!!

dodge63 They do make bifocal contacts. Usually one lense is one way and the other lense is different. I don’t know how to explain it, but your eye doctor can. My one lense is for a stygmatism and the other for near sightedness.

Opal without glasses does not help. Me glasses are fine. I do not like things close to my face. I’ve been wearing bi-focals since before 30.

If I recall, Calvin wanted contacts too. Not that his eyes were fine, but thought he’d wanna look bug-eyed.

I thought about contacts when I was younger but common sense won out…..couldn’t see the sense of sticking my finger in my eye every day just so I could see.

I have been wearing no line bifocals for 3 years and the lined bifocals for 3 years prior to that and my doctor refuses to put me in contacts because of my eyes and their have recently been some issues with them. What i was told is that if you don’t have pretty equal vision then the bifocal contacts will not work at all for you.

My mom had cataract surgery last year and had corrective lenses inserted. She had worn glasses as long as I can remember and it was difficult seeing her without her thick glasses. I’m just getting used to seeing her sans glasses. She said best thing she ever did, very happy with the new lenses.
