Actually, the numbers are the easy part. It’s those weird symbols in between that got me all confused.

Math was one of my two weakest subjects in school; the other was phys. ed.

at his age, how broad does it have to be, Broomie?

I just made my mortgage payment and car payment. Do I hope I have enough money for groceries? Or, do I know how much money I have for groceries?

Math was easy for me until Algebra.

Irrational!

Geometry is about logic and doesn’t make much use of numbers.

Buy him a pocket calculator.

Wait until they start throwing in letters.

Wait until you get to the part where you have to solve 1 + 1 = 0

Then Satan added letters to math!

I hated algebra! I never understood the formulas. But I could always figure the answer in my head. So I got the answers right and got marked off for not showing my work!

Broomie’s being deliberately evasive. I’m thinking math isn’t her strong suit either.

A train is traveling East at 60 MPH, another train leaves 2 Hours later. I’m standing on the train platform in Chicago. I missed them both :P

I was O. K. with the numbers. It was the x and y I had trouble with.

math was the subject that made all the other subjects on my report cards look so much better by comparison…

It’s always been clear that Nerwin is not the academic type. But we think he will somehow acquire enough Life Skills to get along in the Enchanted Forest….
