If one of the litter boxes has been used and one of my cats sees it, she stares at it in disbelief. Maybe by looking at it she thinks it will empty on its own.

Smelly business is more like it.

Angie, if the two of them start sampling Stumpy’s nip and rolling around in the box, you’ll wish you’d cleaned it out.

Our two will stand there watching me clean and then jump in the second I’ve finished.

I want a cat so bad!! I have never been without a cat in my life until the last 2 years. Siamese and Maine Coon are my favorites. However, our adopted Lhasa Doodle HATES cats. He tries to kill them. I adopted a Siamese from our local shelter. I had to return her 3 days later because of his attitude toward her. It’s not fair or good for either one to have to confine them in separate rooms. Even when one of the neighborhood cats just walks across the yard, he has a conniption fit trying to get to them from inside the house. It just breaks my heart. I have to get my “kitty fix” by feeding my brother’s dog and cat when he is out of town or going to my best friend’s house to see her 2 cats.
