This is their “WAR GAME SIMULATION” of the battle between Ukraine and Russia, with Will playing Pitbull-Putin. Nicce shootin’, Zelenskyy!

( Tucker in the background is playing Moldova, thinking, “Damn, am I next”? )

Squirrels in my neighborhood like to eat avocados—I’ve seen one scampering across my yard carrying a half-eaten avocado nearly as big as itself—then they bury the seeds. Sometimes they sprout and I have to pull them like weeds … except for the one which sprouted in my planter. It grew so vigorously that I transplanted it to a better location where it is currently about 4 feet high and thriving. However, my squirrels have never thrown anything at me, even though my backyard is their playground.

We have squirrels around the perimeter but the yard itself is clear due to two large, diligent dogs and three able cats.

Will needs to call in air support… red-tailed hawks. Or special forces… snakes. Or just a kitty or two. The local rats with fluffy tails are kept under control by hawks, snakes, and cats.

Of course, Iggy would have to keep an eye out for the hawks and the snakes, too.

I suspect the squirrels in my backyard growing up had those. My dog and I were a favored target practice for the little buggers! In later years I worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center. The little cough cough boy squirrels in particular had good aim when we believed they no longer needed to be bottle fed…
