I know it’s just a comic, but the caffeine wouldn’t get into Wanda’s system that fast. Even if it could, current research indicates a mother can safely drink two or three CUPS of coffee with no ill effects to her child.

Some people are affected more than others by caffeine; I can drink about 3 teas a day but before 2 pm or I don’t sleep well at night. My daughter on the other hand can drink coffee/tea right before bedtime and has no problem getting to sleep..
