$100 isn’t expensive?! Geez, I thought it was like $10, or free with a purchase at a mall… but then I’ve never been brave enough to get my ears pierced, so…
Ear piercing isn’t too expensive (depending on your budget). A reputable parlor will usually charge between $70-140 (including the procedure, needles (which are only used once!), and “starter studs”) if you get each lobe pierced once. Too expensive, and it’s not worth it. Too cheap, and they will use a “piercing gun,” and you’ll get an infection.
I know this because before I got my ears pierced, I did a ton of research. Honestly, yes, it’s a little spendy, but most people one get one piercing in each lobe, and then they don’t get any more. And trust me, I’d rather go to a professional parlor where they know what they’re doing, than a kiosk that may not be sterile enough.
