There seems to be no shortage of left leaners correlating today’s Monty to the right wing, but the truth is the far left is just as bad. At both extremes of the political spectrum you’ll find people who refuse to believe anything that doesn’t fit their narrative and who will literally make stuff up if that’s what it takes to try to prove that they (& only they) are correct.

As for the media, like @Cpeckbourlioux mentions, it would indeed be nice if they’d report just the actual facts and leave their personal opinions out of it (unless it’s actually an opinion piece ofc). I haven’t really found a news source/site that doesn’t push their own politics at least to some extent.
