It must be hard for Bucky. Knowing you’re a genius, that you’re always right, but the little people just don’t see it. Poor little maniac.

My father-in-law told me that when my wife was a curious toddler, she had a fork and was heading for an electrical outlet. He was watching this and not intervening when my mother-in-law stepped into the room and yanked the fork out of the kid’s hand just in time. She then started to yell at FIL and asked why he was just watching the kid. He replied, “She’d only do it once.”

My child, when quite young, once saved me from grabbing a live wire. I thought the power was off to everything in the kitchen and I needed to install a new outlet for my new stove. She reached up above her head and turned on the electric can opener, something she had never done before and I didn’t even think she knew what it was. I went in the basement and turned off the power to the entire house and installed my new stove – those old one-piece kind with the microwave on top. I had already worked a full day and had to remove the old gas stove and wrangle the new one off the front porch into the kitchen. I am not a large person. But I managed to get the gas connected with no leaks and was good to go by about midnight. Playing with electricity is not really a joke, except here in this comic!

It’s time for Bucky to stick a fork in his plan.

As far as I remember, this is the first time that Bucky has ever called Satchel brilliant and was sincere about it.
