Mr Galvin may be old, but he has the energy of just about any teacher. Kind of weird.

For a “bad student”, Nate shows a really advanced vocabulary. I bet he’s one of those kids who’s extremely smart, but isn’t interested in what’s being taught in math, science, and social studies – the kind who does poorly on standardized tests, but is actually a brilliant person. For Nate, it seems to be art and writing, although I suspect he’s not all that into grammar and English literature, so he might have poor grades there, too.

I’ve always thought that the verb “to Ace” referred to the highest card in the deck as a stand-in for “A.” But spellcheck is telling me that “Acing,” not “Aceing,” is the correct spelling. So how do you spell the verb?

I hope he will evaluate Mrs. Godfrey (￣_,￣ )
