Try picking one that’s a hunter itself. The obligate carnivores don’t taste as good as the omnivores or herbivores.

Well child, you’re more then welcome to go eat some nuts and berries. But watch out, some of those “pets” are looking to eat you.

In the Croods, one of the primitifs says something about a “pet” and the grandmother asks what a “pet” is. “An animal you don’t eat”, he says. “Oh”, says the grandmother, “we call those children”.

I sometimes tell my dog that if things get tough I will eat her. She just gives a puppy stare…..
