When we think we know what someone is about to say, but then we don’t.
That is why we should never assume what people will say. I don’t know about U but I don’t want to make a donkey out of ME.
Son of a gun
Years ago, an acquaintance of mine from school still lived at home after she graduated andhad a good job and her dad got her a car. She was making the payments but as soon as she decided to leave home, the car stayed home. Insert what a **** here.
And the next time they want to use the car they don’t even have to ask
So Dad is now saddled with his daughter, her boyfriend, and the need to ask for the keys to his car when he wants to go somewhere.
I’d give them both the boot!
….and his credit card
All that….fake out speech…
He didn’t need all the introductory BS, unless old Dad is an unreasonable sort of guy and more protective of his car than his daughter.
Ask him for $20 for gasoline, too.
Say goodbye to that used car, Mr. Smith. It’ll come back a wrecked used car…
Dang, and he was hoping to get daughter out of the house on a more permanent basis.
Truly worked his way into her father’s heart.
