Mud is on the way Louie, don’t fret!

Not exactly the showers April promised

As I read this, I hear the rain against my window.

Soon to have may flowers.

Well, there may not be mud for Louie but April dropped it all over here for our dogs!

We have had 12 days of rain in the last month, we normally only get 36 a year. Supposedly the wettest March in 100 years.

I thought they lived around Lake Michigan? Around here the month of April hasn’t even turned the brown grass green yet, let alone made any flowers bloom!

Come to my back yard. PLENTY of mud here. It snowed (and melted) yesterday.

April is not very well organized, she’s different all over the world!!!Plenty showers here!

My late loving wife and I had many dogs in the 35 years we were together. All are gone now having lost the last 3 in 2020 and 2021. But the mud is still here and actually my yard is standing water right now and our Catahoula Leopard dog would have been covered from head to toe right now in mud. Miss them but not the many messes the rainy weather caused.
