My husband was not/is not a great sports person and has little interest in same (neither playing nor watching). Of course his dad signed him up for little league when he was eligible. He would stand in the outfield holding his mitt over his face as the coach would yell at him to pay attention and catch the ball. I did not know him them – but I can imagine him with the mitt over his face and his dad yelling.
Though I should say there are sports he likes – target shooting for example or shooting black powder musket/fowler/rifle for demonstrating same at reenactments.
