I am so glad I am not a Senator. See I am a US Air Force brat born in Newfoundland Canada as he was stationed there. I kind of take a bit of pride in it. I was among the 3% foreign-born there not granted birthright due to one of the parents being employed by s foreign government. However, Ted Cruz was a birthright Canadian. If I was in the Senate every time I saw Ted. I would ask where was his documentation from Canada that he renounced his Canadian Citizenship. I would get punched at some point.
I’m bemused by Texas politics, where we have a Republican senator of Cuban ancestry, Rafael Cruz, who goes by Ted, being opposed by a potato-white Democrat of Irish ancestry, Robert Francis O’Rourke, who goes by Beto.

Yet Teddy boy is on the news everyday making his ugly, lying, fascist pronouncements.

One thing Cruz has in common with Donald Trump, I wouldn’t believe either of them if they swore they were lying!
