One of my cats and I developed an almost telepathic understanding. One day he climbed up on a bookcase by the window next to where his bed was located. The Venetian blinds were closed. He tapped once on the blinds with his paw. I instantly knew that he wanted the blinds open. I did not know why but I opened them anyway. As he curled up on his bed, the sun shone down on him through the window. Aha!
