Sadly, that’s not a situation limited in location to the American southwest. There’s not a lake, river or stream in this country where a walk along the banks won’t reveal the same thing.

Bring back the “Don’t be a Litterbug” campaign!

Ah. He stepped on a Fresca head. Is that sugar-free? :)

Note that you don’t need heavy-duty archeological chops to be able to date a Fresca bottle shard. Likewise with Tamagotchis or Pogs.

I was working at coca cola when they came around passing out samples of that, this one guy tasted it and said, well if you could get it back in the horse it might be alright.

E.B. agrees with my suggestion made yesterday, buy a replica arrowhead from the museum store/souvenir shop.

But, no, Monty has to do it the hard way! I hope that Fresca bottle-sherd leaves just a flesh wound and no infection….

Laughs a good poke at his (and some of our) pretensions. But that’s not to say that every whitey (like me) looking for arrowheads etc. is doing so for the wrong reasons. Everybody’s different. And some people… they, I’ll just say they’ve got soul. And that’s something inside you, the outside doesn’t matter.
