ouch, it’s almost as if he don’t want him there to do his job, if he had anything to do that is…

Well, for Brutus that is a silver lining!

I would have laughed with him and reminded him of the big account he had just closed (assuming that there was one of course)….

I’ve had all week.

And there were pieces left in the donut box that ‘needed eatin’ in the break room.

When I was still working there was a guy that I didn’t like.  I didn’t usually work with him unless our shifts overlapped or either of us was on overtime.  I thought he was well liked by his friends until one day I had to work an overtime shift with his crew.  After things had quieted down a bit one of his “friends” said “You know it’s too bad Dave isn’t here to realize how nice it is when Dave isn’t here!”

Veeblefester doesn’t employ anger when it comes to Brutus, he seems to prefer cutting sarcasm.

This may be giving the boss ideas, if he was capable of having ideas.

He has his. When he is alone thriving on his cold porridge in front of his fireplace you will have others asking what, why you are doing something. Will what’s his name rethink as did Scrooge? Brutus has his challenges, ribbing and all.

Sounds like you deserve a raise for raising productivity, Brutus.

This reminds me of the night we had no supervisors in the building. They were at a hotel for a meeting. That was the night we had record production. To me, that suggested the real binds in our output was management. :-)
