Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
True story: In Florida, while a golfer was watching a shot he hit from a fairway bunker, a large gator lunged out from nearby bushes, grabbed his thigh and tried to drag him through the bushes into the water on the other side.
Fortunately, he was not playing alone. His buddies beat the gator with golf clubs, but it wouldn’t let go. Finally, one buddy started ramming the gator with a golf cart, and it finally let go. The victim lost about a third of the muscle tissue in his thigh.
Stories like this are why I have the gator rule shown in the previous comment.

New PGA rule: you automatically win if you get eaten by an alligator.

My gator rule is that if my ball is within 50 feet of one, that ball belongs to the gator, and I get a free drop.

We play ready golf. You don’t wait for who is away. So they can finish and either help him or move on to the next hole.

There’s part of his problem…most golfers use carts, not “Gators.”
