Do charging stations charge for charging? How long does it take to charge a vehicle? Will quick charge last as long as an overnight? Is there an app that lists where charging stations are?

Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority recently installed blue charging plates in the street at one of the depots for their electric buses. Routes #1, #8, and #13 just need to park over them for about 5 or 10 minutes while customers are boarding. Later today I will try to find detailed links about the project, but for now search:

I love my EV. I’m getting 80 -100 MPGE. I charge at home and it’s cheap even when pay .18 kwh for solar farms. Even if I travel, which isn’t often, I still do better. I start every day with a full charge. Gas stations are busy because you have no other way to fuel up your car.

Most people don’t realize that 120 years ago, there were more electric vehicles on the road than cars with internal combustion engines.

EVs do use fuel. Where do you think all that electricity comes from? Mostly coal.

Thank goodness I have a hybrid. It was less than $4.00 the last time I bought gas and hopefully will be back below $4.00 when I do need gas.
