I’ve heard that they’ve stopped calling it Uranus, now they just call it Urectum.

Wait until they get to high school literature class and have to read about the giant, white whale…

I remember when I was in high school and they made a significant discovery about that planet. We got a lot of laughs from asking our physics teacher, “Sir, is it true that there are rings around Uranus?”

Some day I will be mature enough to not giggle when I hear that word, but today is not that day!

Uranus used to be called “George”. Mine used to be called “Stephen”

There are times I wish we had gone with Greek god names instead of Roman. Uranus is Ouranos in the Greek pantheon. The planets in our solar system would be Hermes, Aphrodite, Gaia, Ares, Zeus, Chronos, Ouranos, Poseidon and Hades. (Yes, I prefer 9 planets over 8. I know it’s a dwarf planet, but I hate leaving it out.)

It should ever be thus.
