It hasn’t been said, but Frazz and Miss Plainwell may have eloped during the pandemic. It’s the best explanation I can think of for Miss Plainwell’s altered hairdo.

Almost always, we START an interaction with some barking… but the GOOD conversations get past that pretty quickly.

Sometimes people are just like (barking) dogs …

By my stats, the barking ones are the dogs i never see on the street. The ones we do pass and know are just watching us and saying “hi”.

I think this strip subtly raises an interesting point about pet ownership in the modern household where occupants are away all day and pets, especially dogs, suffer from separation anxiety.
