I’m sorry, I found this hilarious. I know: poor doggo, but…..

Las Vegas weather. It hasn’t rained in eons. Today was our Community wide garage sales. 130 households…and it POURED RAIN. My umbrella that has been in the car since Vancouver didn’t want to open. And it’s supposed to rain tomorrow too. I’m going anyway.

Next week is the second half and I’ll be selling some stuff. Better not rain then.

I’m surprised the dogs were able to get that high up in the tree.

National Take A Chance Day. Every year on April 23rd, National Take a Chance Day encourages us to break out of our comfort zone. Most of us have unaccomplished goals or dreams. What if this was the day to take the chance to make them happen? Even if it is just the first step toward that goal, it will be one step closer than before.

Best of all, it’s house painting day! My brother, Joe (not the same one who helped do home repairs last year), is coming in the morning to do some house painting for me. I painted most of my house over the past few years, but I wasn’t able to paint the high part on the west side of the house. I managed to do the high part on the east side a few years ago, but it wasn’t easy for me. I don’t feel comfortable that high up on a ladder. But Joe used to do house painting. It helped him earn money for college (yes, it was a LOT of years ago). He’s not afraid of heights. He even likes to go rock climbing. Anyway, he’s going to do those high parts for me in the morning. Just a little bit on the south side and a few boards on the east side and one section on the west side. I’m tickled pink! Yippee!

Graham H (or Oliver?) drores the cutest dawgs!!!!! My late dog wasn’t that crazy for pork chops but, as a youngster, he could get maybe 6 ft. up a tree at a dead run. Never caught one luckily (for nutkin and me!). Squirrels love to tease poochies!!!!

That was mean. Funny, but mean. On another note, saw a junco, five robins, a raven, and a rabbit while out walking today.
