Of course, most of us here in the PNW did not get to see it. It was particularly frustrating where I live, since there were occasional breaks in the clouds, but never in the direction of the moon.
My dad, sister and I went out down the highway to an old car lot to watch the eclipse. As we left we noticed a cop staked out in the dirt road across from us. They turned on their lights as we left, but didn’t follow us.

When did almost every full moon get a name? I remember Harvest Moons as a kid but that was about it and I was fairly well read as a child.
