Can’t like this one. Too sad for me. I am a parent of two young men who were lucky enough to reach their 50’s without harm, and a retired teacher, who wonders about which former students made it that far.
1900-1990 prior to making schools gun-safe-zones 41 people killed on campuses (this includes 28 at UT Austin tower), since 1990; 34 1990-2000, 49 2000;2010, 110 2011-now. For these crazies that want to kill, the federal government created the ideal sandbox for these killers.
nothing has changed…evil exists…it respects no one…learn to defend yourself…when seconds count, police take minutes and unfortunately some police wait in the hall paralyzed…
Topic = school shootings… Answer (select three)..arm teachers, metal detectors at all entrances, lock schools down all day, stop naming the shooter, eliminate all guns, eliminate all bullets, pass red flag laws to empower law enforcement to raid suspects’ homes.
When I was a child we had bomb threats and the over all threat of atomic warfare. Life is not for fair. Do your best and love those around you because there are no guarantees.
Meh. Not to worry. Worry does not help anything. Just get on with life and hope for the best (and maybe buy a tactical vest, except in New York, where self-preservation is now illegal)….
You should be 20x more concerned over Fentanyl killing your kids, we lost 107,000 Americans just last year. Yes, Uvalde was a horror hopefully nothing like it will ever happen again [it will sadly] there is little that can be done to stop it short of changing America to its roots.

What do any of these comments have to do with the topic of this cartoon, mainly school shootings?
