    It’s very confusing to dogs. “I was being a dog. You left so many temptations that I haven’t been trained against.” Our latest shelter adoptee wanted to sleep with us. He now knows that beds are off limit. Food is kept in a locked trash container. — Understanding that a dog is a dog is the first step in good dog parenting.
