He’s not into you.

Don’t be too hard on him. Do you know how hard it is for us dogs to get a picker upper?

Must admit some folks do have trouble saying “Hello” or " Good Morning" :-(

Maybe he’s of no help because you’re talking to the dog and not to him!

I’ll bet she didn’t ask permission to pet his dog.

At this point, I take the dog and leave. She wants rude, I’m happy to accommodate.

A forced pass and error?

Perhaps if she addressed the human she would get a human response. I agree with the look on his face and give him credit for patience.

Just because he is not communicating does not mean he does not want to. Some people suffer from social anxiety. Today’s strip is so poorly written that one could guess that Mr Martin was the writer.

Is she passive-aggressive? Is this a micro-aggression? Is he silent becuz he’s triggered by her behaviour? (Where did that ‘u’ come from? Am I turning British?)

He might tell the dog to tell her that he is still awaiting the results of the dog’s rabies test.

At least once a day, my son comes home from his walk with our dog with a story about someone he met on the way. They ask the dog’s name, his breed, his age, and always want to pet or play with him. If someone comes into our house, Finn gets aggressive, but he’s a little angel with strangers he meets when he’s out.

He should do the same thing to the woman without her permission. Perhaps she would learn a valuable lesson about not touching or petting other people pets without permission.

Just kick her in the head and move on.
