It (literally) seemed funny (to him) to say that. He will likely soon experience some regret for not keeping that response to himself.

He wouldn’t need to use a popsicle stick if those little, flat, wooden spoons weren’t so rare.

At least she looked. I have to make sure my pockets are empty when I take my clothes off. Unlike my lovely wife, when I do laundry I go through everyone’s pockets.
