I like Scott Hilburn’s way with words, but when it comes to art, he’s no Jack Kirby.

Frankly, I’m kind of surprised that comic books don’t show up as themes more often in comic strips. I’m pretty sure their creators are some kind of lodge brothers (or sisters).

He’d be a SUPER HERO. He’d only need to carry a lot of Preparation H. Granted, an obscure reference.

How about a guy who flies around at night, eating insects? I call him: Bat Man.

Stan Lee mentioned that he had a very hard time selling Spiderman to his bosses, a superhero that was a meek teenager instead of a big brave man.

Ah, the infamous golf game between the higher ups at Marvel and DC…if that never happened, Marvel might not exist today.

There’s something missing: Stan Lee running around getting all the credit.

I wouldn’t know, I never opened one of their comics. Superheroes do nothing for me.
