Perfect timing – first email delivery on Thanksgiving!

In selecting from a multiple-choice list, she usually chooses “D” for Dumb.

I like to say that about 1/3 of my confidences come from my successes and 2/3 of it come from my failures.

As the old joke goes: “How do you learn how to make good decisions.”

“Experience.”

“How do you get experience.”

“By making bad decisions.”

This reminds me of a quote from Mark Twain about decision making. “A cat that sat on a hot stove lid will never do so again, and that is well. The problem is, she will never sit on a cold one again either.”

One can learn too much from experience.

“Experience is a brutal teacher, but you learn. My God do you learn.” C.S. Lewis

I’ve learned from both good and bad experiences and decisions. The bad decisions keep on teaching me, if in no other sense than the reminder, “don’t do that again.”
