Do they? Dang, I’ve only ever been to USA and Canada. I wish I’d been to one of those developed countries you speak of.Also, I prefer to give my own tipping, dependant upon the service I received. I’m gonna go Google one of those developed countries… I wonder how many there are! 7 is my lucky number so I hope it’s 7.

Twenty percent is: Divide sum by ten (move the decimal point one over to the left. Multiply by two. Boom, done. Add or subtract depending on quality of service.

Calculating the tip is easy – accurately splitting a bill among six people is a challenge.

Double everything over the 1’s place. 26*2=$52. Gives you between 15% and 20%. If the bill is in the upper half (like $258), I’ll add a buck or two.
