Every wonder why so many classrooms are designed to bore you to the brink of sleep. At the end of the lecture, you are left with a few notes and a vague memory of droning speech. What’s really going on? What are we really being taught during this social hypnosis?

I’m glad I was immune to hypnosis. I got hypnotized 21 years ago to quit smoking. I walked out thinking I had wasted my money, lit a cigarette, and promptly put it out as it was nasty. Went home and tried again. Same thing. That was it. Haven’t had one since!
