You’d think Light work would go Relatively quickly. But the quicker the work goes, paradoxically, the more time seems to slow down from the employee perspective. It doesn’t take an Einstein to figure that out.
Does anyone else dream during daytime naps? Migraines knock me out sometimes in the daytime for a few hours. Today was one of those days, and I had nightmares. One was I was somewhere, maybe a car dealership, with my dog off leash. (She would not be off leash, so that should have woken me up.) There was a small pipe hole in the floor in a corner, and I saw her stick her head in and then fall entirely in. It was too small to reach down, even, and I was worried she would suffocate. I started screaming for help, but I had almost no voice (I was probably actually making sounds in my sleep.) I was terrified. Someone called 911, but I woke up before anything else happened. Losing my dog would be like losing a child. Nightmares have been a part of my life since I was a child.

I wish I knew what 8 hours sleep feels like.

I mostly enjoyed my work. Thought I would miss it when I retired. I was wrong.

I like to multitask and get my 8 hours of sleep at work.

That is so true! 8 hrs of sleep at times is a blink of an eye!

I can’t do 8 hours! “Early-onset Rigor mortis” wakes me up.

If it’s a restful sleep, yes…very fast passing. For insomniacs, not so much.

Aunty, it does if you spend 8 hours at work DOING WORK! It just seems slow if just spend 8 hours doing nothing.

My nighttime sleep is a series of 2-hour naps. I’m exhausted all the time.

My Great Uncle Tim really enjoyed his work. He was a bootlegger and made stumphole at night. Never work a real job all his life.

Or, in other words, Aunty, time flies when you’re having fun.
