Appearances can be very concealing, hiding some really nice people.

That applies to doggies AND people. I’ve been surprised a time or two myself over the years by both.

Jax Dog will snarl and bark like crazy when you start to leave. But it’s because he wants you to come back and play some more. It really confuses people until you explain his little hangup.

Perhaps a temporary pang. Or waking up. Or disgusting meds.

Oh my… he reminds me of our little Tyke. We finally managed to adopt him a few years ago, after his daddy had to move for work. We’d puppysat him a few times, and he knew the boy would be happy here. And he was :)

Tyke was in foster care forever, no one seemed to want him. He was a funny little guy, brown and black with some white, and this long body and short legs. My husband thinks people thought he was a fighter because of his colouring. Far from it. He was the most loving little guy!

I’m sure he loved his life here, he had Jellydog to run around with, and the cats loved him as well. Sadly he got ill and it wasn’t curable :( Mum actually went into the room at the vet with him, and she told me she whispered to him to come back to her..

So, we’re hoping to find a Tyke again someday, he’ll come when he needs us, I’m sure
